Overview

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) services nearly 1,000 flights per day, making it one of the busiest airports in the world. With flights to and from about 225 destinations, ATL is a major airport and a Delta Airlines hub. The airport is named after former Atlanta Mayors William B. Hartsfield and Maynard Jackson.
This guide is for Concourse C, which serves multiple airlines, including Delta Airlines, Delta Connection, and Southwest Airlines (both international and domestic). The concourse has 34 gates, with some clustered, from C1 to C55.

Where Can I Eat and Drink at ATL Concourse C?

Concourse C has countless options for food and drink, including fast food favorites like Chick-fil-A and Five Guys. Full-service restaurants like Carrabba's, Longhorn Steakhouse, and the Varsity are also abundant. For those looking for lighter fare, several health-focused eateries can be found in Concourse C, such as Great Wraps and Salad Works.
Coffee, snacks, and sweets shops are abundant throughout Concourse C, including Krispy Kreme, Auntie Anne's, and Starbucks. Savannah's Candy Kitchen might help you satisfy a sweet tooth with favorites like candy apples and grab-n-go bags.

What Can I Buy at ATL Concourse C?

Atlanta Airport's Concourse C has a few unique stores, including a Kylie Cosmetics store located near gate C22. Most stores in this section of the airport are typical airport-type stores that sell travel essentials, such as Brookstone.
The InMotion Entertainment and Buckhead Books stores sell books, music, entertainment, and other flight essentials. Concourse C is not the best concourse in ATL for high-end shopping or browsing luxury stores, but you can take airport transportation to visit other concourses for shopping.

Where Can I Relax at ATL Concourse C?

The Delta Sky Club is in Concourse C for those with a membership. Concourse C has limited relaxation opportunities, although you'll find the XpresSpa near gate C36. Here, you can indulge and treat yourself to a spa manicure or pedicure, complete waxing services, massages, and more. Nearby, you can purchase FuelRod™ portable, reusable chargers for your mobile devices. Ample restrooms are also located throughout all sections of Concourse C.

What Else Can I Do at ATL Concourse C?

Beyond shopping for gifts and dining, ATL Concourse C offers basic services. Several charging ports are located throughout the concourse for those who need to work and connect to free WiFi. If you wish to explore Atlanta's other concourses, you can take the airport shuttle service between concourses without having to pass through security again.

Departing from ATL Concourse C

Understanding the layout of ATL Concourse C before your flight can help you easily navigate the airport. Concourse C spans about half a mile, with a centralized point that houses several dining and shopping locations.
The southern end of Concourse C houses gates C22, with the remaining gates on the north end of the concourse. Travelers departing from ATL Concourse C should arrive between two and three hours before the flight to allow enough time to pass through security checkpoints.

Arriving at ATL Concourse C

After you have arrived and exited the plane in Concourse C, follow the escalators up to the arrivals level. From here, you will move on to baggage claim in Concourse F. Follow the baggage carousel number listed on your airline's app or the ticket.
Due to the size of ATL airport and the many flights constantly arriving, you can expect your bag to take some time to make it to the baggage carousel. Once you've retrieved your baggage, passengers can follow signs to parking lots, ground transportation, or other transportation to their next destination.
