Valley International Airport provides a Remote Lot for long-term parking. This lot is located a short distance from the terminal and is ideal for travelers taking extended trips. It features well-lit areas, 24-hour security, and friendly attendants to ensure a safe and convenient parking experience. The daily maximum rate for long-term parking is $10. Monthly parking is available for $180, and yearly parking costs $1,000. Travelers interested in extended parking must visit the ticket booth before departure to complete a parking contract, prepay the fee, and receive a parking sticker for their vehicle.
What are the rates for short-term parking?
Short-term parking is available in the Close-In Lot, conveniently located near the terminal. The rates are $1.00 for every 20 minutes, with a daily maximum of $15. This lot is designed for brief stays, such as passenger pick-ups or drop-offs. Vehicles taller than 75 inches are not permitted in this lot.
Can I reserve parking ahead of time?
The airport does not currently offer a parking reservation system. All parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Despite the lack of reservations, ample parking ensures that travelers can usually find spaces without difficulty.
Is there a free waiting lot for picking up arrivals?
Drivers can use the Remote Lot to wait for arriving passengers. The first 30 minutes in this lot are free, making it a convenient option for those coordinating pick-ups. After the first 30 minutes, the rate is $1.50 per hour, with a daily maximum of $10.
Where is valet parking, and how much does it cost?
Valet parking services are not offered at Valley International Airport. Travelers are required to park their vehicles in the designated parking lots and proceed to the terminal.
Can electric vehicles (EVs) charge onsite?
Valley International Airport does not currently have EV charging stations on-site. EV travelers can use nearby facilities in the Harlingen area, such as:
