Offsite facilities, such as Hotel Tempest Phoenix Airport, offer rates starting at $4.99 per day, providing more economical alternatives with shuttle services to the terminals.
What are the rates for short-term parking?
Short-term parking is available in the Terminal Garages:
- Terminal Garages: The rate is $4 per hour, with a daily maximum of $30.
Are there budget-friendly offsite parking options nearby?
Yes, several offsite parking facilities offer competitive rates and shuttle services to PHX:
- Hotel Tempest Phoenix Airport: Located at 1375 E University Dr, Tempe, AZ, this facility offers outdoor parking with a transfer time of approximately 10 minutes. Rates start at $4.99 per day.

Is there a free waiting lot for picking up arrivals?
Yes, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) provides three free Cell Phone Waiting Lots for drivers picking up arriving passengers. These lots are located near the terminals and offer convenient access:
- East of Terminal 4: This lot includes approximately 90 spaces and features flight information displays and portable restrooms.
- West of the West Economy Garage: Similar to the Terminal 4 lot, this location also offers about 90 spaces, real-time flight updates, and portable restrooms.
- South of the 44th Street PHX Sky Train® Station: This smaller lot has around 25 spaces, with restrooms available inside the station.
All three lots are open 24/7 and free to use, but vehicles must be attended at all times. These lots are ideal for waiting until your arriving passenger is ready for pickup.
Where is valet parking, and how much does it cost?
Valet parking is available at Terminals 3 and 4:
- Terminal 3: Valet service is located on the north side of the terminal.
- Terminal 4: Valet service is available on Level 4 of the Terminal 4 Garage.
The daily rate for valet parking is $39.
Can electric vehicles (EVs) charge onsite?
Yes, PHX offers EV charging stations in various parking facilities:
- 24th St. Station Parking: 20 charging outlets are available.
- Terminal 3 Garage: Charging units are located on levels 1, 3, and 7.
- Terminal 4 Garage: Charging units are located on level 4 east, Zone B north of the elevator lobby.
These stations are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Where is covered parking available?
Covered parking is available in the Terminal Garages adjacent to Terminals 3 and 4, as well as in the East Economy Garages A & B. These facilities provide protection from the elements and convenient access to the terminals.
Does the airport provide accessible parking options?
Yes, accessible parking is available in all parking facilities at PHX. Spaces are located near elevators and shuttle stops to assist travelers with mobility needs.
